God's too much continuesness; God's continues toomuchness!
WHY PATMOS? (The vision is born)
On
April 19, 2010 at 7:23 as I was setting up my classroom, about 7 minutes to
assembly time, the school director entered. ‘Good morning Uncle D. Mommy (as she was addressed by school kids)
needs you in her office.’ He said, and I left with him but, we both went
separate ways. I entered the proprietress’ office and she asked me, ‘How long
have you been here?’ ‘Two years, mam.’ I answered….
…
I had been accused, to her, of incompetence and laid off with immediate effect,
without remuneration, after 20 minus 2 years of quality and fruitful service… The period of 'entering the furnace of affliction' had just begun with me…
In the
first year of my affliction as I sat at my landlady’s veranda finding the x of
life and adding 2+2 to have, but 5 and not 4, of accumulated rents and bills, … the
LORD reminded me of the Apostle John, the beloved, in the isle of PATMOS; the
land of John’s affliction, where he, after being persecuted, was then exiled to die.
It was in Patmos the Lord disclosed to him the Apokalupsis. So, I therefore likened my 5 years of affliction to John’s
life in ‘Patmos’ as touching my communion with divinity. During this period the
Lord convicted and motivated me to write out my biography in this book titled “Joy
Cometh in the Morning”; where the story of my ups and downs and twigs
and wriggles, and the LORD’s sufficient grace and mercy-continues toomuchness- is recorded. During
this 5 year trial period (in my Patmos), the LORD proved to me that His power
is [truly] made manifest in [my] weaknesses, by provoking me to write, up to
about, 33 books including a children’s bible and translated documents of
credible information on human rights, social life, judiciary, and health in
my language-Limbùm.
The
mission of the PHPM is, ‘Publishing every testimony with aptitude and
expertise, professionalism and proficiency, to the glory of God.’ Psalm 26:7 (KJV)
WHY NSALARIAN? (The mission is
given)
Before
the Lord God translated the Word from eternity to Mary’s womb, His name was
announced, and with His mission embedded in His name; …Yeshua! For He will save His people from their
sins. (Matt. 1:21)
I
believe my name (nsaꞌlàr) was
not given without divine designation and assignment. The name literally means
‘no problem.’ But, there is more to it than just that. Its profound and
philosophical meaning is ‘endurance.’
Often times we respond to questions concerning life with a ‘no problem’ feedback without being very conscious
of what we really mean. ‘No problem’ emanates when there is an unavoidable occurrence, an inevitable
problem or obstacle. ‘No problem’ therefore means, ‘I’ll forbear,’ ‘I’ll be
patient,’ and ‘I’ll endure.’ That has been, and is still, my life just as the effigy
my name depicts.
I
have been enduring drawbacks in this brief life, especially in the areas of education,
health and marriage, by enjoying them as such, for it is written: My brothers and sisters,
consider it nothing but joy when you fall into all sorts of
trials, because you know that the
testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have
its perfect effect, so that you will be perfect and complete, not deficient in
anything. (James 1:2-4)
ENDURANCE IS FRUIT OF THE
SPIRIT!
You, however, be
self-controlled in all things, endure hardship, do an evangelist’s work,
fulfill your ministry (2Tim. 4:5). And you will be hated by everyone because of
my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. (Matt. 10: 22 & 24:13, Mark 13:13)Rejoice in
hope, endure in suffering, and persist in prayer. (Rom. 12:12)
ENDURANCE PROVOKES TO
LOVE!
For
this love that saves also compels to preach to others. (See Acts 26: 18)
It bears all things,
believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. (1Cor. 13: 7) So
I endure all things for the sake of those chosen by God, that they too may
obtain salvation in Christ Jesus and its eternal glory.
why soteria? (The vision on
mission…)
I
sat again, on the veranda of my landlady’s house but, this time not to find [x]
neither was I adding 2+2 to have 5. Instead, I was curious about three things:
(1)
Job’s affliction (2) his deliverance and (3) his restoration.
I was hooked by
one; his deliverance and what
precipitated it. That is:
- THE RECOGNITION OF GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY by the young Elihu.
Job’s three friends didn’t
see God in their friend’s suffering but Elihu did.
After
Job and his three friends had labored with words to no avail in chapter 3 to
31, then Elihu took over in chapter 32 to 37, reminding Job and the others, of
God’s sovereignty, then, Elihu’s praise, of Yaweh Elohim, invited God on board (38-41) Job
confessed in chapter 42, for running his mouth, and his deliverance broke forth.
- THE RECOGNITION OF GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY in worship, irrespective of the pain, the lost and the shame, can precipitates the LORD’s involvement in what concerns His own. (At that point, I leant my lesson.)
After
these things I looked, and here was an enormous crowd that no one could count,
made up of persons from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing
before the throne and before the Lamb dressed in long white robes, and with
palm branches in their hands. They were shouting out in a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God, to the one seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Rev. 7:9, 10)
The
Greek word translated ‘salvation’ is, SOTERIA; and in the preceding verse it stands,
also, for VICTORY.
People from every nation, tribe, people, and language, shall stand before the throne and before the Lamb because of salvation they
did receive through our involvement in the Great Commission, and shall sing
soterian praise-in-worship in recognition of God
as the source of salvation, and no one else.
Salvation isn't something we achieve, it is something God gives.
This
verse shows the impact the great commission will have because of our obedience
in carrying it out variously.
