Matt 13:23 says: But as
for the seed sown on good soil, this is the person who hears the word and
understands. He bears fruit, yielding a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what
was sown.”

Shall we pray!
To you, oh eternal Father; To
you, blessed Redeemer; To you, dear Holy Ghost, we have come.
Unto Mt. Zion, to the city of the
living God, to the innumerable company of angels, we have come.
Unto the general assembly and
church of the firstborns, to God the judge of all, to the spirits of the
righteous made perfect, we have come.
Unto Jesus the mediator of the
new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling – the blood that speaks better
than the blood of Abel, we have come; for in your presence there is freedom. (Heb.
12:22-24)
May the soul reading this message
not hear me, but you. May the one watching these sermons not see me, but you.
Humble and protect me under the cross of Calvary. Let your purifying fire and
fire of the LORD’s judgment blow as I speak your Word. (Jer. 5:14)
Father, the entrance of your word
gives light and understanding to the simple. Let your Word - that living and
active Word, that sharpest, double edged sword; may it pierce, now, to the
division of soul and of spirit, to the division of joints and of marrow, and may
it discerns the thoughts and intentions of our hearts. (Ps.119:130; Heb. 4:12)
Open the ears of our hearts as we
listen to you speak. Give us understanding minds, believing hearts, willing
spirits and obedient bodies. (Matt. 13:23)
Let your Word; that hammer which
breaks every rock into pieces, breaks every hearts of rock, for the heart of
obedience. (Jer. 23:29; Ezekiel 11:19)
Let your Word; the consuming fire,
purifies us of every contamination and compromise. (Jer. 23:29)
Let your Word; the balm of
Gilead, heals us of every sickness and illness and infirmity, and delivers us
from every affliction. (Jer. 8:22; Ps. 107:20)
We pray in the name that is above
all names, the name at whose mention every knee must bow and every tongue must
confess, that JESUS IS LORD, to the glory of God the Father. The name – that mighty
tower where the righteous run to and are saved, the name of JESUS! Amen.
